A strategic position

The farmhouse, surrounded by greenery and with a magnificent view of the Gran Sasso, enjoys a very strategic position to be able to visit many places of interest, both naturalistic and cultural. It can be easily reached from the A 25 Alanno- Scafa exit in 10' (we are 30 km from Pescara). If you want to arrive by train or by bus at the Scafa station, we will pick you up for free and you will be at the farmhouse in 5 minutes.

From here you can choose to take a different trip every day and even whether to go to the sea or to the mountains.  15' from the Giumentina Valley, Caramanico Terme and the enchanting Orfento Valley; from the visitor center of the Majella Park where they can provide you with all the information on the excursion routes within the Park. From here you can easily reach the starting points of the paths for the Celestinian hermitages or arrive by car at the Santo Spirito one, also made famous by the director Paolo Sorrentino's series "The new Pope".

We are also 5' from the relaxing Parco Lavinio,  as well as from the Holy Face of Manoppello. There are numerous outdoor activities that you can do, in addition to hiking. We are for example a  15' from the Roccamorice climbing walls.

And if you feel like going to the beach, the farmhouse is  just 30 km from Pescara and with a few more km you can reach the famous Trabucchi coast or the beautiful Punta Aderici reserve.

With trips of less than an hour  always in streets with very suggestive panoramas  , the places to visit multiply exponentially. In 30' the San Giovanni waterfalls, with 40' you can reach Pennapedimonte  for an excursion  along the comfortable path in the gorge of the Avello river, a place of rare beauty An hour from here you can  Rocca Calascio!
